Equipment Operator II

Full Time

Summary of Position: Operate a variety of heavy equipment and trucks used in construction, maintenance and repair activities. Perform a variety of tasks associated with maintenance of roads, water and sewer systems.

Must possess a valid DZ driver's license.

Hourly Rate of $30.56 (Plus benefits and pension plan).

The Corporation of the Municipality of Red Lake is seeking candidates for:

Procurement & Resource Planning Specialist

Summary of Position:  This position is responsible for overseeing the procurement function and resource planning across the Municipality of Red Lake, while ensuring legislative compliance, streamlining operational workflows, and enhancing service delivery.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, contract administration, inventory management, and process improvement, preferably within a public sector environment.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-management skills, with the ability to build collaborative and effective working relationships across all departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, and contractual risks, and integrate risk management principles into procurement processes.

Summary of Position: The Boat Monitor acts as the principal public liaison, offering authoritative guidance and educational resources on boating safety and environmental conservation.

40 Hours with a flexible schedule (daytime, evenings and/or weekends). 

Wage is $24.40 an hour

The Regional Red Lake Heritage Centre is seeking candidates for:

Museum Assistant – 12 Month Internship

Summary of Position:
The Museum Assistant supports the preservation, digitization, documentation, and storage of archival and artefact collections at the Red Lake Regional Heritage Centre. 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Post-secondary education in Museum Studies or a related field
  • Recent graduate with related museum, archive, or heritage experience
  • Experience handling archival materials and artifacts
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with PastPerfect is considered an asset
  • Experience assisting with exhibits is considered an asset

Public Works Supervisor 

Summary of Position:  The Public Works Manager is a leadership position responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the Public Works Department. The full-time role leads the planning, coordination, and delivery of infrastructure maintenance and improvement initiatives to ensure reliable, high-quality municipal services for the community.

This position supports the efficient and sustainable stewardship of municipal assets while advancing community growth and service excellence.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

- Minimum 5 years of progressively experience in Public Works Management, including project management and team leadership.

- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field would be considered an asset.

- Demonstrated strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.

- Water Quality Analyst Certification considered an asset.

- Must hold a valid Ontario Driver’s License.

Wage is $80,000- $90,000 subject to experience and qualifications.
